GRADUATE RESEARCH/TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIP:
The Department of Horticulture, Forestry, and Recreation Resources at Kansas State University is seeking qualified and motivated students to pursue the graduate studies (M.S. or Ph.D degrees) in horticulture. Students having an interest in any of the broad areas of horticulture including food crops, ornamental crops, turfgrass, greenhouse and nursery management, stress physiology, molecular biology, plant nutrition, sustainable crop production, and human issues and health as they relate to horticulture are encouraged to apply. Annual stipends are competitive, with subsidized tuition (a full tuition waiver for graduate teaching assistants and resident tuition for graduate research assistants) and health care coverage. The assistantships are available beginning fall semester 2009.
